Experienced Full-Stack Developer Needed for Mentorship Platform

?️ Job Posting: Full-Stack Developer (Supabase + React) – Hourly Contract
Project Overview
We're building a modern mentorship platform using Supabase for backend/auth and React (Vite) for the frontend. The platform supports multi-role user accounts, credit-based subscriptions, and onboarding flows for mentors and subscribers.
We’re currently experiencing critical issues during sign-up and onboarding — including freezing behavior, incomplete profile creation, and intermittent Supabase errors (e.g., 400 Bad Request, profile creation fails, session persistence issues).
We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to work hourly, starting immediately to help diagnose and fix these issues.
✅ Your First Project
You’ll help us:
Debug the signUpUser() and handleSubmit() flow for new user onboarding
Investigate issues related to Supabase triggers (e.g., handle_new_user)
Diagnose session persistence issues and profile creation failures
Review and correct Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) and policies
Implement fallback mechanisms or retries where needed
We’ll start with this high-priority fix, and if it’s a good fit, we’d love to continue working with you on longer-term development.

Frontend: React (Vite), TailwindCSS
Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, RLS, Functions)
Deployment: Bolt.dev (Preview-based dev environment)
Version Control: GitHub
? Ideal Candidate
Strong experience with Supabase (or Firebase/PostgreSQL + auth)
Proficiency in React and frontend debugging
Familiarity with async behavior, error handling, and session auth
Can work independently and communicate progress clearly
Bonus: Experience with Vite, Bolt, or edge-based serverless tools
⏱️ Project Scope & Hours
Initial engagement: ~5–10 hours to debug and resolve onboarding issues
Future work available: Feature development, backend scaling, admin dashboard
Flexible schedule — we’ll collaborate via async chat and occasional calls
