Enhance React App Features
Budget: $12 – $30 SGD
My existing React application is stable and in production, but several new features are now required to move the product forward. I already have a general idea of what these additions should look like—high-level user stories, basic wire-frames, and desired user flows—but they still need to be refined into detailed acceptance criteria and then implemented in clean, maintainable code.
Here is the workflow I have in mind: we will begin with a quick walkthrough of the current code-base (React 18 with functional components and hooks, Redux Toolkit for state, and a small Express API). After that, we will turn the rough ideas into clear tasks, decide on the best libraries or in-house solutions, and agree on milestones.
Depending on technical feasibility and timeline, the scope could include items such as authentication, real-time updates with WebSocket or Firebase, or integrations with third-party services—so a solid grasp of REST/GraphQL patterns, socket.io, and popular auth flows (OAuth2 / JWT) will be handy.
Deliverables I need at each milestone:
• Fully working, tested feature branches merged into the main repo via pull request
• Brief but complete technical notes (setup, major decisions, dependencies) in Markdown
• Minimal unit or integration tests covering critical paths
Code quality matters: TypeScript typings must remain strict, eslint passes with no warnings, and components should stay fully functional, avoiding class components unless there is a strong reason.
