Debugging Rechart Hook Error in React

I'm new to React and need help understanding a hook error I'm encountering while using Rechart. I suspect the issue is simple, but I can't seem to pinpoint it. It is driving me crazy.
I'm attempting to create charts using data from a .json file, following the format of [this project](https://github.com/nordicgiant2/react-nice-resume), and using examples from the [Recharts documentation](https://recharts.org/en-US/examples). However, I'm running into the following error: "Uncaught Error: Invalid hook call. Hooks can only be called inside of the body of a function component."
I would like you to:
- Diagnose the problem
- Explain to me why this is happening
- Give me a minimum working example. This would be having some data in the json plotted in one of the sections of the page.
