Custom Sales Automation CRM Build
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a CRM from the ground up with one clear objective: streamline my sales process. Off-the-shelf tools like Servicetitan carry more baggage than I need, so a custom solution is the only route that makes sense.
Core scope
The system must excel at lead management and pipeline management. Every incoming lead should be captured, enriched, and assigned automatically, while a visual pipeline (drag-and-drop Kanban style) keeps deals moving through defined stages. I also want quick views of conversion rates, deal values, and stalled opportunities—nothing bloated, just the insights that keep revenue flowing.
Key expectations
• Modern, responsive web app architecture (language and framework are your call typescript , Node.js, React, etc.—as long as it’s clean, secure, and documented).
• Scalable database schema designed specifically for sales objects: leads, contacts, accounts, deals, activities, stages.
• Role-based access with granular permissions for admins, managers, and reps.
• API endpoints or webhooks so external forms, landing pages, or third-party tools can push leads straight into the system.
• Search, filter, and bulk-update functions that remain fast even with large datasets.
• Lightweight reporting dashboard: pipeline value, win rate, average deal cycle, and basic export to CSV.
Deliverables
1. Source code in a Git repository with clear commit history.
2. Deployment script or Docker file so I can spin the app up on a fresh server.
3. Minimal setup guide and a short user manual for day-to-day tasks (adding leads, advancing stages, generating reports).
Acceptance criteria
– Lead created via API appears instantly in the first pipeline stage.
– A deal can be dragged to a new stage and the change is stored without page reload.
– Report snapshots refresh in under two seconds on a dataset of 10,000 deals.
– Code passes basic security scan (OWASP Top 10).
If you’ve shipped similar CRM or sales automation tools before, I’d love to see a demo site or code sample alongside your approach to meeting the goals above.
