Creative Memorial Web App Build

I’m launching a web application, a platform that lets families create digital, QR-code-linked tribute pages for their deceased loved ones. Visitors scan a code placed on a headstone or keepsake and land on a beautiful memorial page with a biography, photo gallery, videos, and guest dedications — all managed by the account holder.

To make things easier, we’re also building an AI-assisted biography generator. Families can fill out a short questionnaire and receive a well-written tribute draft — something heartfelt, editable, and ready to publish.

Technical Requirements

Frontend

React.js (preferred) or Vue.js
Next.js for server-side rendering and SEO
TailwindCSS or similar for styling
Fully responsive (mobile + desktop)
WYSIWYG editor for manual biographies
Form-based questionnaire UI to collect user input for AI

Backend

Node.js + Express (or Supabase/Firebase)
REST API or GraphQL (for future mobile support)
JWT authentication (email login now; social logins later)
Role-based access (owner, guest, moderator, admin)
Integration with AI services (e.g. OpenAI GPT) to process biography requests
Rate limiting, logging, and fallback for AI failures

Database & Storage

PostgreSQL (preferred) or MongoDB
File upload: photos, videos (up to 500MB)
Cloud storage (AWS S3, Supabase, Firebase Storage, etc.)
Video optimization & thumbnail generation
Store AI-generated drafts with ability to revise or publish

Other Requirements

QR code generator with unique slug per memorial
Commenting + Dedication system with moderation controls
Admin dashboard (content, users, moderation, analytics)
Mobile performance: Lighthouse score ≥ 90
QR scan loads within 2 seconds

Bonus Skills (AI Integration Related)

Experience working with OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, or similar LLMs
