Raspberry Pi Speed & Downtime Logger

Job ID: 39787756

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I need a complete Raspberry Pi–based solution that measures my machine’s real-time speed, notes each time the line starts, and recognises when it stops so downtime is captured automatically. Every reading has to post to a MySQL database so I can later build reports without touching CSV files or manual entry.

The job covers everything from choosing and wiring the sensor that feeds speed data into the Pi, to writing the PHP service that streams and buffers the values, to creating the MySQL schema that stores timestamped speed, start-time and downtime events. The service must run at boot, keep working if the network drops, and recover gracefully after a power cut.

Please include a tiny front-end or CLI test utility so I can watch the current RPM/-m s rate live while we verify the installation.

Deliverables
• Wiring diagram and parts list for the chosen sensor
• Well-commented Raspberry Pi code ready to `systemctl enable`
• MySQL table schema plus a short script that seeds the database and proves data is being inserted
• Brief README explaining setup, calibration steps and how to extend the code later

I will provide remote SSH access to the Pi for initial testing if needed, but the solution should be designed to work entirely offline once deployed.
