Raspberry Pico Espresso Controller PCB

Job ID: 40012593

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need an experienced PCB designer to create a custom control board for an espresso machine.
The PCB will use Raspberry pi PICO and will receive signals from various sensor, switches and control some relays.

Scope:
Schematic capture and PCB layout in KiCad 7+
2-layer board, 130mm × 80mm, 2oz copper
Mixed high-voltage (100-240V AC) and low-voltage (3.3V/5V) design
Mains isolation with 6mm creepage/clearance requirements

Key Components:
Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040) as main controller
4× relay outputs (pump, solenoid, LED, spare)
2× SSR trigger outputs (heater control)
Temperature inputs: 2× NTC thermistors, 1× K-type thermocouple (MAX31855)
Pressure transducer inputs (0.5-4.5V and millivolt bridge via INA128)
UART interface for external ESP32 display module
power meter interface

Deliverables:
KiCad project files (schematic + PCB)
Gerber files, drill files, BOM, pick-and-place CSV
3D STEP model
Assembly drawing (PDF)

I Will Provide:
Complete specification document (~2500 lines) with circuit diagrams
Detailed schematic reference document
Component selections and part numbers
All design decisions already made

Required Skills:
Experience with mixed HV/LV PCB design
Understanding of safety requirements (creepage, isolation slots)
KiCad proficiency
Experience with relay/SSR driver circuits

Please include examples of similar projects (mixed voltage, relay-based control boards) in your proposal.
