Integration of raspberry pi with external device -- 2

Hi

I have raspberry pi 4 device and an external device, called "Crown"
They are connected via the same network.
The idea is to connect in the time domain so i can know when a trigger on the raspberri pi is on and off and to adjust it to tag it to a specific sample number of the detectors, and see there is no jitter
(when the trigger was on, what sample was that at the sensors)

in other words the crown will always measure and i want to get the data from all the sensors.
When the trigger arrives (there will be several) it's an event, in which i need to know at what measurment sample, the trigger was turned on. (like a map of triggers which point to the sample number. )
The "crown" supports NTP of that helps



I'm looking for a person who worked with raspberry pi before and the GPIO.
Preferrably also with Balena (balena.io)

The idea is to take the initial code written by the company :

And to continue it for my specific needs as described.
Please indicate what experience you have.
Since it's not a huge project, i want someone who already did something similar so he can do it in a fast time.
