ESP32 or RPI Talking Clock for Kids
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Me and my son are trying to make a talking clock telephone for his school.
What we want is to use an old 80 dial phone, hook the ear piece to the esp and the dial when they dial 1911 it says the current time.
Someone has worked out how to make the dial work also here are some links for reference.
This can be done with an esp32 or Raspberry pi 3 as i have both of them here.
It is just a school project for my son so please be nice with the budget.

* Use the dfplayer works fine with esp32 or other boards.
*Rotary - pulse counter 1 GPIO
Keypad - 3x4 - 7 GPIOs
*"retro phone" I create ER props and have made rotary dial phones that play audio files directly as well as remotely via PC program.
