I'm seeking an experienced developer to design and program a fully autonomous drone system using the Skydio 2+ with Dock Lite. The drone will operate in an industrial environment.
Requirements:
- Launch in response to a motion sensor trigger (Raspberry Pi Camera)
- Fly a predefined patrol route
- Return to dock for recharging without manual control
Key Tasks:
- Integrate Skydio's Autonomy Enterprise SDK with custom motion detection setup
- Implement fail-safes:
- Obstacle avoidance
- Return-to-home on low battery
- Mission planning logic
- Basic logging for operational status and safety
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Expertise with Skydio drones and Autonomy Enterprise SDK
- Proficiency in Raspberry Pi and motion detection technologies
- Strong programming skills (Python preferred)
- Experience with drone mission planning and safety protocols
