Hi! I’m a final-year Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering student working on an autonomous drone project.
Right now, I’m stuck on getting a single drone to fly autonomously using my hardware setup:
Flight Controller: Matek F405 HDTE
Companion Computer: Raspberry Pi 5
Firmware: ArduPilot
I’ve tried several methods and configurations, but I still can’t make the autonomous flight work correctly.
I’m looking for someone who can guide me step-by-step (remote support) or help me fix the setup so the drone can take off, navigate, and land autonomously.
Tasks may include:
1) Setting up and tuning ArduPilot for the Matek F405 HDTE
2) Enabling communication between Raspberry Pi 5 and flight controller (via UART/TELEM1)
3) Configuring autonomous flight missions
4) Testing using Mission Planner or Python (MAVLink / DroneKit)
