Electricity theft pointing through correlation

The aim of this project is to address existing problem by identify the electricity theft from the real time data set available , by using correlation analysis as the main technique and look whether it is able to identify the theft for the considered data set or not.
The objective is to observe if the above mentioned electricity theft identification can be done using correlation analysis and to find out the dishonest customers from the real world energy consumption data set
So I would like to check the correlation analysis model where there is no need of data training data set with the real time data set from smart meters where I can process the data and analyze the data to find out whether it is truly effective on identifying electricity theft even after using the real world data set.
