Quantum Python Specialist for Advanced Simulation

Job ID: 39840880

Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD

Hiring: Quantum Python Developer (Tensor Networks / HPC / Simulation)
Remote · Full-time · $10k/month

We’re building cutting-edge quantum simulation workflows that push the limits of large-scale computation. Our focus is on tensor network methods (MPS, PEPS, contraction path optimizations).

We need a developer who:
- Lives and breathes Python + scientific computing (NumPy, PyTorch, JAX, etc.)
- Has deep understanding of tensor networks, especially contraction strategies and optimization of circuit evaluation
- Is comfortable with HPC, GPU acceleration, slicing strategies, and memory-efficient simulation
- Thinks in terms of Hilbert space, entanglement, and circuit depth/treewidth
- Can design algorithms where every contraction is not just math, but a step toward scaling exponential problems

What you’ll do:
- Build and optimize contraction engines for tensor networks
- Push circuit simulation from “slow classical bottlenecks” into high-performance quantum-inspired computation
- Experiment with new heuristics, slicing schemes, and hybrid approaches (classical + quantum)
- Collaborate with a small team tackling some of the hardest math problems in simulation

What we offer:
- Fully remote work, flexible hours
- Long-term collaboration (monthly budget ~ $10k)
- Opportunity to work on problems at the edge of quantum computing research
