Quantum Python Developer for Tensor Networks
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Position: Quantum Python Developer (Tensor Networks / HPC / Simulation)
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $5,000
We are developing advanced quantum simulation workflows designed to push the boundaries of large-scale computation. Our core focus lies in tensor network methodologies, including MPS, PEPS, and contraction path optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize tensor network simulations in Python using frameworks such as NumPy, PyTorch, and JAX.
- Implement and refine contraction strategies for quantum circuit evaluation.
- Utilize HPC and GPU acceleration to achieve high-performance, memory-efficient simulations.
- Apply concepts of Hilbert space, entanglement, and circuit treewidth to optimize computational scaling.
- Contribute to the design of algorithms that transform complex contraction problems into scalable solutions.
Performance Targets:
- Generate and optimize 38–40 qubit contraction workflows.
- Achieve the following performance metrics:
= 38-qubit and 40-qubit contractions: ≥ 4,000 it/s
= 39-qubit contractions: ≥ 40,000 it/s
