Bahrain Quality Inspector (ad-hoc)

Job ID: 40171935

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I occasionally place sheet-metal fabrication orders with workshops around Bahrain and need a reliable, on-call inspector who can visit the shop floor whenever a job is ready for interim or final inspection. Your job on each visit is to verify that the parts match my drawings and that the supplier’s paperwork is in order.

What you will actually do on site
• Take dimensional readings with your own calibrated calipers, micrometers, tape, or laser tools and record them against the drawing tolerances.
• Visually assess welding quality and compare it with the applicable ISO acceptance levels.
• Check the surface finish for scratches, dents, or coating defects and note any rework required.
• Collect, review, and photograph all mill and material test certificates to confirm they reference the correct heat numbers and comply with ISO standards.

What I expect back from you after each visit
• An inspection report (PDF or Excel) listing measured values, observations, NCRs if raised, and clear pass/fail conclusions.
• A photo set that shows overall assemblies, critical dimensions being taken, weld details, and MTCs.
• Any urgent red-flags communicated the same day by phone or WhatsApp so I can advise the supplier immediately.

Inspections are sporadic—sometimes two in a month, sometimes none for several weeks—so I need someone already based in Bahrain who can react quickly and travel to Manama, Hidd, or Sitra with short notice.

If you have a background in QC for sheet-metal fabrication, are familiar with ISO 9001 workflows, and own the necessary measuring gauges, I’d like to keep you on call for the next run of projects.
