Quality Assurance - Software Testing (Full Time and Long Term)

We are an online software company looking for two experienced quality assurance testers to help us find bugs in our software (in the app and on the website). This is a full time job. You will start at $3/hour and receive increases as you become more valuable to the team. Incentives will be paid based on the amount of bugs found. We will allow you to work 30-50 hours/week (up to you). You need to be able to work until 2PM EST.

We have built a construction management suite for our customers to help them manage their business. This is already live and has been in service for the past 4 years. It’s similar to a CRM system, but built for construction companies.

We are ONLY interested in a long-term partnership from someone who wants to work with us for at least a year. If you enjoy bouncing from one job to another and constantly looking on here for new jobs and going hungry, please do NOT apply.

You will not be required to have voice conversations but your English typing must be good and you must use proper sentence structure. If you cannot, do not bid on the job.

If you like problem solving and finding software bugs that others were unable to uncover, and you are looking for more stability in your income, this may be the job for you.

Each month you will be required to test a list of features within the system. You will also be required to test new features that get added. Additionally, you will spend your time learning the software and trying to find bugs.

Please indicate if you have any experience with accounting software or the construction industry. If you have a degree in computer science or any other certification, please mention that. These are not requirements, but it’s helpful for us to know.

If you are selected to move to the final stage of the application process, you will be given access to our system and asked to review 1 page and identify the errors that appear on the page. This tasks will take you about 1 hour. In the past, we hired people who thought they were great but they could not find even obvious bugs. This test helps ensure that you are as good as it sounds like you are. You are not paid for the time you spend on this task. This is an application process.

Following directions is a requirement. In order to be considered for this, please reply to the bid and at the top, mention, "I have read the full details of the job." All other bids will be ignored since we do not want to work with those who cannot follow simple details.
