French Transgender Identity Research Assistant

Job ID: 39810341

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m preparing a 100-page manuscript in French that examines transgender experiences in India through the combined lenses of gender identity, linguistic anthropology and cultural studies. The study will follow a mixed-methods design, so I need an assistant who can move comfortably between qualitative fieldwork (interviews, discourse analysis) and quantitative insight (survey design, basic stats).

Here’s what I’ll rely on you for: a solid literature search in both French and English sources, an annotated bibliography, help refining the research questions and instruments, and co-writing each chapter in clear, academic French. I already have a preliminary outline and ethics clearance; your job is to fill the gaps, chase down primary data, keep citations consistent and help me hit the 100-page mark without padding.

Key deliverables:
• Annotated bibliography with at least 40 peer-reviewed sources
• Draft interview/survey instruments in French and English
• Clean transcripts and coded data (NVivo or similar) plus a concise quantitative summary (Excel/SPSS)
• Chapter drafts and a fully edited final manuscript in one Word file, ready for submission

I’m flexible on citation style (APA or Chicago) and will set milestones around each chapter so you’re paid as we progress. When you bid, let me know your proposed timeline, previous work on transgender or gender studies topics, and any field tools you prefer. Native-level French is non-negotiable; familiarity with Indian sociolinguistic contexts is a strong plus.

Looking forward to collaborating and turning this project into a meaningful contribution to transgender scholarship.
