Content Analysis of Japanese TV queer stars and TV shows

I am looking to generate a meaningful analysis of Japanese TV queer stars and TV shows. I would like to use a combination of both qualitative and quantitative methods to examine the queer stars. The main focus of the analysis will be on the queer stars, and their characters development within the TV shows. I am looking for no more than 3 sources of data to use on this project.
