Overview:
I need a web-based app and database to create a ‘lessons learnt’ tool. The Tool will have two functions:
A record function allowing someone to record a short video/audio/text entry capturing their experience. This file is stored on a central server. This video/audio file is then automatically transcribed into text. The text is then automatically summarised using Natural Language Processing techniques and keywords extracted. The summary text, keywords and a link to the video are then stored in a database
A search function allowing a user to enter keywords that are used to match appropriate content in the database. The search results will show: the summary text, then the keywords in a different colour underneath and a link to the source material (video/audio/text file) and how useful others rated it and how often it has been viewed. On selecting the link, viewers are asked to rate the content for usefulness and impact and can add an optional comment to it. These are stored on the database too.
The web-based app and database are for a proof-of-concept to show the potential of the idea, with the intention of securing further funding to develop it further.
