3-D vector integration in python with numpy arrays.
Budget: $10 – $80 USD
Hi.
I'm estimating loss mechanisms in heliostat fields.
There are 5 loss mechanisms I'm investigating, with 3 already completed.
The fourth mechanism is the spillage loss, which is provided by the mathematical HFLCAL model. It requires a 3-D vector integration along a receiver plane to provide the intercepted power at a certain point in time, which will be an efficiency value.
This will be applied to a CSV file with locations of numerous heliostats.
Thank you.
Deliverables:
- Provide working python script for HFCAL mathematical model
- Applies spillage loss mechanism to CSV list of field of heliostats to result in percentage efficiency of each.
- Can be applied to other efficiency calculations to result in overall/total efficiency for each heliostat.
