python password command line (5 stars)

sshpass is a cool program; need something that will work "just like it" so I can do my password on "command line"
A command I really like is:
sshpass -p pass1234 ssh root@108.88.78.6
Can you write "something" in python; that will do a similar command
mypassword -p pass1234 ssh root@108.88.78.6
