The project aims to optimize odds selection for football betting using non linear optimization. The ideal candidate for the job should have experience in data analysis, machine learning, and sports betting.
Specifically, the project requires the following skills and experience:
- Strong proficiency in Python and its data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
- Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms, particularly those related to optimization
- Experience in sports betting, particularly in football
- Familiarity with sports betting data sources and APIs
The project will involve the following tasks:
- Providing recommendations for optimizing the algorithm's performance - needs to be fast
I already have the optimization modell set up in Excel. I need someone to write it in python as a function and get it run fast and accurate.
The final delivery will be a python function where I will input the markets that can be bet on as well as the scores I want to optimize over and the function will out the best betting strategy to maximize reeturn (the details are all in the excel file) - It is detailed end to end, you can follow that to the letter and simply convert to python
