need help to print from program that runs on ubuntu o.s. and hosted on aws

Printing to a thermal printer from a program that runs on an Ubuntu operating system and hosted on AWS. It uses CUPS printing scheduler. We have a Linux driver for the printer. But cannot configure to work through CUPS. The ideal candidate should have experience with the following: Ubuntu/Linux, CUPS, using PPD, etc
