In need of help - finishing one of old Python game projects, and to refresh portfolio
Budget: $80 – $120 USD
Hello
I wanted to finish one of my old Github projects that i would like to get done. It is currently located (visible) in my public repository, to view here: https://github.com/Neuroszima/Splendor_game
It is a implementation of popular board game. I want to resurect this project and finish it, while also making some changes and refresh the ideas. The reason i originally abandoned it was that i got a full time job and moved on to other parts of the language usages. I want to see how an experienced programmer would approach this, what is good what is wrong. Getting to talk to someone experienced would also give me an opportunity to grow.
In this project i have:
- a couple of classes that describe game elements and card loader
- unit tests to check if functions/classes i made are valid
Target User Interface was at the time of writing aforementioned code console-based. I am open to the idea of switching to something more mature, like py-game and ones alike.
As a bonus we could talk about other projects that i didn't finish and start working on something else, but that is not the priority right now. I would like to have at least that one project finished and have something nice to show as a result, and something fun to play with :) I have to confess I don't have big budget for this and it is my first time i hire someone so i do not know what to expect.
