[matlab python or c++] real time visualization of sound for vga or hdmi (audio-to-video processing part is done)

we need to visualize some audio from an input line. the processing part of converting audio to a visualization is done. I just want help to do this processing in real time and export the visualization ot vga or hdmi.
it can be done in any language but i prefer matlab or python. i have already a matlab script that does this audio to video processing offline.
