fix Rust compilation errors

I am trying to convert an AWS Lambda function from Python to Rust but I am encountering many compilation errors. Please see attached screenshot of the errors. I have also attached the original Python code in addition to the rewritten Rust code. I need a freelancer to fix all the Rust errors in the appropriate way which provides the desired run-time functionality (e.g. no commenting out of errored lines, since this will not produce the desired result at run-time).
