QR code scanner to check tickets against a database, show guest info, and cross guest off list.

I’m looking for an application which can be used for an event to scan guest tickets upon arrival.
Guests will be issued with a QR code in advance. Upon arrival, the QR code needs to be scanned and checked against the ticketing database. If the code matches, provide positive confirmation it is a legitimate ticket, provide guest name from database to compare against ID and then cross guest off database.
If the code has already been scanned, this should be notified.
