calculator

Job ID: 40617654

Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR

I’m building a lightweight desktop app that does two things in one window: first, act as a clear, reliable calculator for the four basic operations; second, offer a small casual game to give the user a quick mental break (Tic-Tac-Toe, 2048, or another similarly simple idea—open to your suggestion).

The calculator side is straightforward: clean keypad, real-time display of the current expression, accurate results, and error handling for divide-by-zero or invalid input. The game should launch from a tab or button inside the same application, share the same design language, save a local high score, and close back to the calculator without restarting the program.

Target platform is desktop, specifically Windows; cross-platform support for macOS/Linux would be a nice bonus if your chosen stack (C#, WPF; JavaFX; Python PyQt/Tkinter; Electron, etc.) makes it easy. Whatever you pick, make sure the final build is self-contained—no complex install steps for the end user.

Deliverables
• Compiled executable(s) ready to run on Windows
• Full, well-commented source code
• Brief README or build notes so I can reproduce the build

Acceptance criteria
• Calculator performs add, subtract, multiply, divide with instant feedback and proper rounding
• Game loads inside the same window, keeps basic score, and exits cleanly back to the calculator view
• No external paid libraries; open-source licenses only
• Application starts in under two seconds on an average PC and uses minimal RAM

If you have a creative mini-game idea or a UI concept that can tie both tools together neatly, include a quick note in your bid—I’d love to see it.
