automatic extraction of region of interest form image inputted

I have a various image kernels separated from hyper spectral image , i want to perform automatic segmentation by the co0de to extract peanut which is REGION OF INTEREST from back ground and make back ground black with a rod as foreground , I want it to resize to 224x224 to be ready for machine vision input
