We are seeking a skilled Python developer to update our existing Zulip bot, which currently uses the OpenAI API. The project involves the following tasks:

Project Requirements:
- Update OpenAI API Integration:
- Upgrade the current Zulip bot to work with the latest OpenAI API.
- Ensure seamless integration and functionality with the updated API.
- Test and debug any issues that arise during the update.

Integrate DeepSeek API:
- Obtain and configure an API key from DeepSeek.
- Incorporate DeepSeek API calls into the bot's code.
- Handle authentication and data processing for the new API integration.
- Maintain Existing Features:

Ensure that all current features of the Zulip bot continue to function as expected.
- Perform thorough testing to confirm that both new and existing functionalities work smoothly.
- Skills and Experience Required:
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
