I’m ready to overhaul the way our team handles workflow management and I need a seasoned automation specialist who can architect, build, and deploy a reliable process-automation layer that genuinely boosts efficiency across the board.
Here’s the core challenge
Our internal workflows sprawl across multiple apps and manual hand-offs. I want these steps captured, optimised, and then automated end-to-end so my staff can focus on higher-value tasks instead of jumping between tools or chasing status updates. This project is therefore 100 % about process automation, with “increase efficiency” as the single yard-stick for success.
What you’ll actually be doing
• Audit and map the current workflows, highlighting bottlenecks and redundant touch-points.
• Propose an automation architecture (e.g., Zapier, Make/Integromat, UiPath, custom Python scripts, or a mix) that keeps long-term maintenance simple.
• Build, test, and document the automated flows so anyone on the team can understand and extend them later.
• Set up live monitoring or alerting—Slack, Teams, email, your call—so we immediately know if a workflow ever fails.
Acceptance criteria
1. All agreed steps run without manual intervention for one full week in a staging environment.
2. Average task completion time for each automated workflow is at least 40 % faster than our current manual baseline.
3. Clear, step-by-step documentation and a short hand-over call so we’re confident maintaining the system internally.
