WooCommerce Rug Store Product Scraper & Importer
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We are looking for an experienced web scraping and WooCommerce expert to help us populate our online store (worldmarketrugs.com) with over 1,000 luxury rug products from a supplier's website.
The Challenge & Requirements:
Web Scraping: Extract product data (titles, descriptions, SKUs, sizes, and pricing) directly from
[https://www.yilongcarpet.com]
(https://www.yilongcarpet.com).
Image Integration: Product images are provided via a Google Drive folder. You will need to match these images correctly to their respective SKUs/products and format the links for WooCommerce import.
Duplicate Prevention: Our store already features a large catalog from this supplier. The import process must strictly check existing product SKUs to prevent duplicate entries or overwrite errors. Only new products should be added or existing ones updated safely.
Bulk Import: Format the final data into a clean CSV file and successfully import it into WooCommerce without crashing the server (batch imports recommended).
Requirements for Applicants:
Proven experience in Web Scraping (Python, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Apify, or similar tools).
Strong background in WooCommerce data management, CSV mapping, and bulk product imports.
Please provide examples of similar data extraction or e-commerce import projects you have completed.
Note: We prefer to start with a milestone test of 20-30 products to ensure accuracy before proceeding with the full catalog.
