Trading application - User Facing - Zerodha Brokerage API
(Python wrapper package available for the APIs)
Technical Stack
front end: html, css, js (IFF needed, react.js or next.js - next.js recommended)
back end: python (django or sanic), pykiteconnect
web server engine: IFF django - nginx or caddy.
host: AWS (EC2), digital ocean, heroku, vercel
message broker (for websocket data store): redis (optional)
fulfillment (notifying users about status updates): telegram or sms or emails
database: postgresql hosted on either AWS RDS or somewhere else
One user account per brokerage account to be managed.
dashboard to manage users and what strategies to run on their account for example
UI+UX -> inspired by how zerodha displays them. no new designs needed
determining strategies -> business logic
Business Logic
As soon as someone signs up, we'd want them to link their zerodha account. which gives us their API credentials to use.
Then we just start running the strategies on their accounts based on some parameters. The strategies only need run while the markets are open. Start at market open, stop at market close.
