I have over 310 scripts ranging from SSH jumps, SCP file moves, and a container commands that require too much hands on keyboard.
Example:
Ssh to jump box -> Kubectl to pod -> Run vendor pod command -> Copy Output -> Paste to vscode
** Sometimes this out is CSV, JSON or plain text
SCP tar file to jump box -> SSH to the jump box -> SCP tar file to a server -> SSH to server -> Unzip
I've stood up a container on my local machine to mimic, what will be built in AWS EC2.
Exposing pods to the public internet to do direct API calls isn't possible do to controls outside of my control. The main software provide of these kubernetes clusters won't do it.
Deliverables
Web UI with buttons or drop down.
Have prefilled scripts
Select target domain
Four "terminal-like" boxes. Each box shows the output from a selection from steps 1-3
Nice to have:
Admin and T1 type control on what commands can be ran
Continuous run scripts (every 5 minutes), alerts on if the previous
** Exit code is different
** CSV or Text file is different
