About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Web Designer & UI Developer to help with implementation, refinement and enhancement of our AI-powered dilapidation report tool. The project is built in Python (Streamlit) and integrates YOLOv8, GPT-4, CVAT.ai, and Pipedrive to automate defect detection and report generation for construction site inspections. Your role will be to review the existing code that has been prepared and assist with a user-friendly web interface that seamlessly integrates all these elements.
A sample code from Chat GPT has been prepared and assistance is needed with implementation and training the model / end user. This is mostly going to be a review and assistance with educating process.
We are currently in the process of preparing photos with existing metadata to assist with training using CVAT.
Responsibilities:
Educate the end user as to how the use the code and where issues may exist.
Review and enhance our existing code that has been prepared to develop a clean, intuitive UI for the report generation tool.
Improve the layout and navigation within Streamlit or propose better alternatives for UI/UX.
Integrate file upload functionalities for photos, DOCX templates, and additional report elements.
Ensure smooth interaction between the AI model, defect detection, and report generation workflows.
Optimize performance and responsiveness of the interface.
Troubleshoot and enhance the existing Streamlit code to improve usability.
Requirements:
Proven experience in web/UI design and development.
Proficiency in Python-based UI frameworks (Streamlit, Flask, Django, or others).
Experience working with APIs and integrating them into front-end interfaces.
Knowledge of AI-based applications (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with construction or real estate applications is a plus but not essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
