Web Deployment of Python App Using Docker (DevOps engineer-Preferred)
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We are looking for a developer to build a web scraping and automation solution with basic DevOps setup, alongside strong web design and backend development skills.
The project involves scraping data from one or more provided websites while bypassing anti-bot protections such as user-agent headers, delays, and CAPTCHAs if present. The scraped data should be exported to CSV, JSON, or sent to an API or database.
You will automate the script using cron or a similar scheduler and package the solution in a Docker container or deploy it to a simple cloud environment. Setup instructions must be provided, either as a README file or a short walkthrough video.
Candidates must have experience with Python-based web scraping tools (Selenium, Playwright, Scrapy, etc.), headless browsers, Docker, and basic CI/CD or deployment processes. Strong skills in web design (HTML, CSS, responsive layouts) and backend development (Node.js, Python/Flask, PHP/Laravel, or similar) are required. Experience with proxies, IP rotation, or serverless deployment is a plus.
This is a fixed-budget project with a tight timeline of 1–2 days. An immediate start and fast, clean delivery are essential. Successful completion will lead to more work opportunities in the future.
