Voice Recording & Whisper Transcription Development

Job Title: Build a Voice Recording + Whisper Transcription Module (Python)

Job Description:
We are working on a confidential AI-based prototype and require a developer to create a Python module to handle voice input and transcription.

The developer will be responsible for:
- Recording short audio from a microphone (5-10 seconds)
- Saving the audio as a .wav file
- Sending the audio to OpenAI's Whisper API
- Returning the transcribed text

Requirements:
- Strong Python 3 skills
- Experience with OpenAI APIs (especially Whisper)
- Familiar with libraries: sounddevice, scipy, openai
- Clear code and documentation

Bonus:
- Secure handling of API keys (.env usage)
- Awareness of voice assistant pipelines
