Visitor Event Registration and Attendance Monitoring
Budget: $250 – $750 SGD
High priority:
1. Prevent spoofing (Example: Students who registers with someone else’s ID, Physical Control? Identity check and verification?)
2. Prevent duplicated registrations (Ability to reject duplicated entries)
3. Register those who did not RSVP
4. Attendance will only be recorded when they attend full day registration (Duration? What time to what time? What is the cutoff? Every student have a different cutoff? Or all the same?)
*Registration will open from 8.30am to 10.30am (Assuming 3000 students with 5 kiosks, each kiosk needs to process average of 600 students)
*End of day, students will need to sign out from the 5 kiosks (5.30pm to 6.30pm?)
*Students who tries to sneak away or clock out earlier than given time will be disqualified (No offer letter will be issued)
5. Program needs to have the ability to record both NRIC & Passport (NRIC can be scanned but not Passport)
Low priority:
6. OCR recognition of Passport number (To prevent human errors)
7. Program needs to be able to handle 4000 registrants
8. Ability to integrate program with in-house database (What database is SMU using? Oracle? MySQL? SQL?)
SingPass integration for local students using Static QR. (QR will only work on the day of registration, expires after defined date and time)
More or less the above requirements. UI/UX needs to be easy to use, preferably with touch screen capabilities and ability to scale up to an app on iOS & Android in future.
