Virtual Assistant for Software Job Search & Application Management -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Virtual Assistant to support me in my ongoing software job search and application process. This role is ideal for someone who is fluent in English with a clear American accent, experienced in navigating job platforms, and capable of independently managing the end-to-end application workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Curate Opportunities: Identify relevant software development job openings based on my evolving preferences and experience (technical stack will be discussed directly).
- Efficiently Submit Applications: Apply to jobs through platforms like LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed, Monster, and direct company websites with tailored information.
- Track & Organize Applications: Maintain a detailed spreadsheet or dashboard of submitted applications, statuses, deadlines, and any recruiter responses.
- Real-Time Communication: Notify me immediately when a recruiter or hiring manager responds. I will take over the communication from there.
Requirements
- Fluent English with an American Accent: You must be highly proficient in spoken and written English. A video introduction will be the first step of the application process.
- Remote Work Ready: You must have a stable internet connection and your own computer capable of accessing remote VPS systems.
- Availability: Be consistently available between 8 AM – 5 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfort with spreadsheets, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and general web tools.
- Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):
* Experience assisting in software/technical job searches
* Familiarity with AI tools or automation platforms
* Background in professional writing or resume optimization
Compensation
- Base Salary: $200/month
- Performance Bonuses: For every interview scheduled and successful job placement, you’ll earn a bonus.
- Once I secure a job (dependent on project salary), I’m open to increasing compensation to $500–$1,000/month.
