3D Video Feed Python Script
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a Python script for a small Linux machine with a video capture card. The script will take a standard 2D video feed and add depth mapping for 3D output via an HDMI port. The HDMI will connect to Viture 3D glasses.
Requirements:
- Split 2D video into two 1920x1080 feeds
- Add depth mapping (use least resource-intensive method)
- Support for active shutter glasses
Ideal Skills:
- Proficient in Python
- Experience with video processing and depth mapping
- Linux familiarity
- Knowledge of HDMI output and 3D rendering technologies
I have a semi-functioning version of the script that can be shared. This is a quick turnaround project for a demo, with more substantial work to follow. ChatGPT and I got it very close to working in about an hour but its past the point of our expertise now.
