Vehicle Number plate recognition during night (Python)

I am using YOLO v5 for recognising number plates and paddle ocr to read the plate. the project is perfectly working during day, but creating problems during night. as the vehicles headlights are on during night, not able to focus on number plate due to high focus of headlight. any way to edit the input video to get rid of bright light, so that it is able to work during night
