Use python to decompose time series and overlap two series to compare them

I am looking for a Python expert who can help me edit the code i already have to decompose time series data and compare two series by overlapping them. The project involves the following requirements:

- Working with ground water time series data
- Availability of the time series data
- The goal of the comparison is to identify patterns
