Translation Management CAT Tool Development

We are seeking an experienced Natural Language Processing (NLP) consultant to assist with a project focused on translation memory (TM) matching and analysis. The goal is to improve translation quality and efficiency by leveraging TM databases. You will provide expert advice on NLP techniques for matching text segments with TM data, design algorithms for identifying exact and fuzzy matches, and propose methods for enhancing alignment between source texts and existing translations. Your role includes recommending NLP tools, frameworks, and libraries, guiding scalable and efficient solutions for large datasets, and helping evaluate TM performance. You must have experience in NLP, especially related to translation memory or machine translation projects, along with knowledge of matching algorithms and fuzzy matching techniques. Familiarity with TMX format and large datasets is a plus. We prefer candidates with Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch expertise and knowledge of CAT tools. This is a short-term consulting role (10-20 hours over 1-2 weeks). Please provide your hourly rate or project-based fee.
