Tool to insert data in excel from text file. -- 2
Budget: $12 – $30 SGD
Text file: data are tab separated and it fits just at right field when manually copy line from text file and pasted in excel file. By looking at the "Type of Insert"
(1) insert empty raw at correct location in excel sheet {logic will be provided} .
(2) Copy line from text file and paste in excel at empty raw created at step 1.
(3) Update some empty field (ex: copy date from one field pasted to new fixed fields so the pre-configured formula will work) .
Some simple additional task like copy formula from field above and paste...
Easy job for programmer.
Should be able to select source (text file) and destination (excel) file and perform above explained task.
Can put text file and destination file in same folder to make it easy to work.
No macro or change in excel to be done other than just insert data from text file.
Generate success/error log for help.
Record size in text file is about 10 to 500 lines.
