Thermal Image Processing (openCV/Python)

I have a system integrated with thermal ir sensor, its giving me out put data as yuy2 format. I need to get raw gray scale clean image from it and color space map with custom color space LUT which then can be tuned with corresponding temperature range to show the clear thermal image. I need software development on opencv-python platform.
