Supply Chain Design with mathematical description and Anylogic model development for Scientific Research
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
For scientific purposes, I need to design a supply chain of goods, taking into account both forward and reverse logistics (recycle, reuse).
First, the flow of goods should be designed and described mathematically (defining parameters, constraints, and variables, and creating a mathematical formulation, etc.).
Then, a simulation model should be developed in AnyLogic (or Python).
So the project contains 3 steps:
1. Design of Supply Chain: a text file with full description of the whole flow of goods, involved actors, their interactions, input, output of each of them, overall output of the model.
It requires analysts and information collection (by discussing with me or maybe some literature).
2. Formal mathematical definition of it (with parameters, restraints, equations)
3. The model itself, implemented (programmed) in Analogic (or Python), based on description from (1), (2).
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in supply chain design
- Proficiency in mathematical modeling
- Experience with AnyLogic or Python for simulation
- Optimization
- MILP, Stochastic programming, simulation-based optimization, Discrete Event Simulation, System Dynamics, Agent Based Modelling
