Stock Price Data Generation Program
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a programmer who can create a program that generates stock price data from hourly close data. The program should take input from a JSON data structure, which comes from an endpoint URL provided by Polygon.io. The output must also be a pure JSON structure.
Key requirements:
- Program can be in JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Perl, but the API interface must be coded in Perl and run on a Linux system.
- The program should generate the Close Price from the input JSON structure.
- The program must handle any error responses from the Polygon.io API by logging errors.
Further specifications:
- The program should convert the stock data to UTC.
- If you prefer another backend programming language, we can discuss exceptions to the Perl API if your code meets my requirements.
Ideal skills and experience for the job:
- Proficiency in Perl, especially for API interface coding
