Project Description:
I'm seeking an AI Specialist to help me on a master’s thesis project. The project aims to harness artificial intelligence to enhance accessibility, analysis, and conservation of audiovisual collections, focusing on the rich cultural heritage of Salento. The project will utilize AI to transform narrative access and improve the operational efficiency of audiovisual archives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement AI models to analyze and cluster audio data from the Archivio Sonoro Pugliese.
Collaborate in designing and testing a prototype for an open model capable of detailed data analysis and user interaction.
Work with audiovisual data to ensure models are accurately transcribing, analyzing, and providing insights based on the archival content.
Assist in integrating AI tools that can automate the cataloging and preservation processes to enhance the archive's accessibility and interactivity.
Requirements:
Proven experience in AI, machine learning, or data science, especially in NLP and clustering algorithms.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, especially Vertex AI and Speech-to-Text services.
Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or another relevant language.
