Sort & Format Large Table (50M Rows, CSV file)

I have a very large csv file with over 50 million rows of data. I need the data in this file sorted by date (most recent at the top, oldest at the bottom). The file is too large for me to open in Excel to sort, so I guess it will need to be down with Python or MySQL or some other database programming tool. I need it done right away, and sent back to me within the hour. This should be a quick project for someone.
