Software, I2C device to sigfox backend (micro-python).

Job ID: 32503096

Budget: $115 – $200 HKD

I am attempting to count flashes of a single red LED at a distance of approximately 30-60 cm. To accomplish this I have a fypi device - which is an integrated esp32 running micro-py connected via an I2C bus to a Broadcom APDS-9250. My requirement is code developed to communicate with a Broadcom APDS-9250, I have the fypi + Broadcom APDS-9250 hardware setup already. The code needs to flexible enough to allow me to change all of the Broadcom APDS-9250 parameters, using programmable variables - I have some limited programming knowledge. I would like the developed code to put the MCU into a deep sleep, using the low powered coprocessor to count the number of asserted interrupts in each 15 minute interval. The code then wakes the main processor to transmit the data (12 bytes, 1 byte of data per 15 minute). This is testing code and is not intended to be a final version, fully commented code would be required so I can (try) to understand the principles. I have tested the Broadcom APDS-9250 sensor using some rudimentary Arduino code and the principle is sound, I lack the ability to program the above. This project will develop further into a commercial device with a related APP, so if you are reading this and have a background in this type of hardware/software, please do feel free to make an introduction as there is the potential for further collaboration. Happy to respond to messages for further information on this job.
